A nice gentle product but fairly uneconomical (Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser)

Advantages: Pleasant smell and creamy texture

Disadvantages: Expensive and doesn't go far

I was first introduced to this product when it was used on me as part of a Clarins facial, after which I was given a small sample tube to take away and try at my leisure. I've since bought and used several more tubes as it is a pleasant product - but its relatively high price means it's never likely to become my everyday cleanser of choice despite its positive points.

The cleanser is a lovely creamy texture, with a nice fresh, clean smell with perhaps a hint of coconut. The word "gentle" is a good description - the product foams lightly but retains a creamy texture and is not over bubbly. This means that the product does not feel overly harsh on the skin.

The main negative is the relatively high price for something which ultimately stays on the face for no more than a few seconds before it is washed off. The gentle nature of the foaming also means I get through the product quickly which exacerbates the high price - a little does not particularly go a long way.

Summary: A good buy for those prepared to splash out on their skincare. Not for those on a budget.
