... a 100ml tube from the Clarins website and must say a tube doesn't really last that long. But Clarins do have good offers throughout the year and if you wait until they have a special offer on, you normally get a lovely gift if you buy two products - the gifts are really worth having as they are good sized sample products, not the tiny ones that some brands offer you, and do make the cost of purchasing the product seem a little easier to swallow. You could always buy one for yourself and one for a friend as a present an...more

Premium Review Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream: Could it be magic? (170 words)

I bought the hand cream on a Clarins shopping spree. I love it because it contains Myrrh extract which treats nails, which is where some hand creams fall! All you have to do is gently massage your nails each time you apply the cream and it leaves you with stronger, healthier nails. Perfect for people with brittle nails. It also leaves your hands feeling really smooth, as it is designed for dry and tired hands. It also absorbs really fast meaning you can apply and go straight away. perfect for if your in a rush, which most of us most of the time! Not only this but the product states it also helps prevent signs of ageing on your hands such as ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A lovely treat for your fingers (338 words)

I love Clarins products - there is something very special about receiving a gift in that lovely red packaging as you know even before you open it that you are going to be in for a real treat. The Hand and Nail Treatment cream is no exception to this rule. The first thing that strikes you is the lovely smell - not overly floral like some creams can be, so nothing that will clash with your perfume, but the mixture of shea butter, and extracts of sesame oil, japanese mulberry and condurango bark (don't ask me what that is as I haven't a clue, but it sure sounds exotic) makes for an enticing combination, and the fragrance lasts for quite a while following the ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream: Saved my washer-woman fingers. (405 words)

I suffer from dry skin and since having baby I seem to spend a lot of time with my hands in water (washing and sterilising bottles, washing baby, keeping hands spotless) which has made the dry skin on my hands worse. At it's worst it became so badly chapped that it bled which was very uncomfortable. I also noticed a sore red ring on the skin under my wedding/engagement rings where the water had been trapped. So, I was delighted when my lovely hubby listened to my complaints and came home with a box of Clarins hand cream. It has the usual, distinctive Clarins packaging. White with red writing and trims of gold. The tube cost him £16 and is ...  Read the complete review

Whilst living at home, many moons ago, my Mum used to always buy Clarins or Clinique products for me and my sister, the brother didn't get a look in, not that he wanted beauty products..........in those days the 'new man' didn't exist and male pampering was very much frowned upon, how times have changed! However once the mortgage, bills etc reared their ugly heads, Clarins products became a luxury and I now rely upon birthdays and Christmas to receive them. And lo and behold on my birthday in January, a depressing month to have a b.day and turning 36 to boot, I received this product from a friend of mine, with a hint that I would need it as it ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream: On the other hand... (865 words)

What do you buy for a lady who hates cut flowers and who’s just had a major operation on her hand? Well, you buy her hand cream if you want to be original, and five people had this original thought when my hand was the one in question earlier this year. I told each of them how clever they were, and I was truly grateful. I then had two weeks when I looked at all the lovely tubes and was frustrated. When one hand is all bandaged up, how do you put hand cream on the other? I don’t mean just on the back and the front, but in all the crevices and round the cuticles! When you’ve worked that one out you can cast your mind around the problem of how to ...  Read the complete review
