I used to use Clarins products for years and do accept that they are not the cheapest products out on the market which is why I turned my back on them when money got a bit tight and I needed to cut back on some things. That was one decision I shall try to avoid doing again, I know that there are some wonderful cheaper products out there but my skin seemed to have trouble with most of them. I have flare ups, redness, itchy/sore skin, spots you name it my skin got it. So after a while I relented and decided to go back to Clarins. In the never ending search for the ultimate skin cream I finally approached Clarins who boast as being the expert in skin care, as well as one of the priciest. I have very finicky skin, it is prone to redness and sensitive to perfumes and chemicals, it is greasy while at the same time dry and therefore has given me no shortage of heartaches in the cream department. Finally I approached the Clarins stand at a mall and asked them for help, which they were more then willing to give (they have such good customer service!) I've been using it for about a month now on and off. The product blurb claims that it uses various natural extracts ("thanks to water, trees and fruit"!) to maintain an "ideal climate" for the skin - keeping levels of humidity etc constant and thus defending skin from the potential ravages of a hot or dry climate. It also has the obligatory SPF 15, because this is intended as a day moisturiser. The extracts include: ~ Katafray bark and hyaluronic acid, which are supposed to ... Read the complete review

I love Clarins products and am always keen to try out new products in their range. I always feel their products are great quality although the downside is that they are expensive. The latest product to be put on my skin is the HydraQuench Cream which they describe as "a super-moisturising" cream. A tub which contains 50ml retails for £30. Now I have to confess that I did not pay this but I have a discovery size which is larger than a sample size and usually you get free when they have an offer on that if you buy two products you can choose a couple of these sizes to try. My tube is 30ml so I have really got a good bargain as its worth quite a bit ... Read the complete review
