Clarins is my all time favourite when it comes to beauty products and i have a large collection although some have been freebies, gifts or samples i have acquired. I actually purchased the Clarins instant light complexion perfector a few months ago now for the first time after having a sample of the product. I have uneven skin and tend to use the Clarins moisture quenching hydra balance cream and cleanser although these are both great products i find the instant light complexion perfector to be best.

This comes in different colours, i have rose shimmer but you can get others like bronze shimmer, champagne Shimmer.

Clarins instant light complexion perfector is used for covering up imperfections, lightens dark patches, evens out the skin. Clarins instant light complexion perfector comes in a red box and the product is in a shimmery white tube with a silver screw on lid. When the lid is removed the you can see it has a pump action dispenser. One pump lets out a small blob of the product this covers the whole face.

Clarins instant light complexion perfector texture is like a creamy foundation and sort of transparent, maybe best described as a tinted moisturiser. It has a cosmetic smell to it although it is mild. Applying the Clarins instant light complexion perfector i start on my forehead and work my way down my face to my neck the blob covers the whole area. It rubs in smoothly and although the colour is not strong you can see it looks like a foundation. The rose shimmer is a light colour with small shimmer of pink to it. I love the way its blends in perfectly to my skin and gives such a clean skin look. It certainly does cover all my imperfections, i have red patches on my cheeks and some small dark patches under my eyes the Clarins instant light complexion perfector hides them all and my skin looks flawless.

Clarins instant light complexion perfector protects against ageing but does not protect against the sun, a first for a Clarins product. The look this creates is more of a natural look but the skin is one colour and blends in, i swear i feel like a model when using this. This is perfect if you don't want to wear foundation or having a natural look. I like wearing the Clarins instant light complexion perfector if i cant be bothered putting on make up because it makes my skin look perfect without any real effort.

The only downside for me is the tube does not last long enough even when used sparingly. I am on my second tube and my first one only lasted three weeks. I don't think i would want to pay £19.99 every three weeks. I have now limited my use of the Clarins instant light complexion perfector to a few days each week as i cant afford to replace it at this rate.
