I bought this product about 6 months ago and have it in my work bag even just now. After going to write about this I see that my good friend Supersonic wrote about this a few days ago - great minds think alike! She's a great writer, so look out for her work if you haven't already done so.
I bought the full sized product of this and I got a few sample sized products as a result of buying this. This was quite cheap in regards to the usual pricing of the Clarins brand, but at the time I needed a Lip Balm that would provide a good amount of moisture and the normal Waxy fruit scented ones that I tend to use just weren't working all that well for me.
This comes in a 15ml tube and I think I paid £12 for it. This isn't your normal Balm Stick. You uncap the lid for this and apply this onto your finger and dab onto your Lips. Also you can apply this directly onto your Lips as the neck of this is slanted a bit, but I tend to just apply this off my finger as I find that I can just dab it on a bit better.
The Balm seems to be quite thick, and I tend to just put a little bit of this on to start with and then I just layer it on a bit more depending on how dry my Lips feel. At first this seemed pretty greasy, but after this going onto your lips for a couple of seconds then I find that this soaks in a bit. I often rub my lips together to let this sink in a bit as well.
This doesn't taste of much which I don't mind. I hate when you get a Balm which smells lovely but then tastes so Waxy. There is a slight creamy scent to this, but you can't taste it which is fine.
This works well to soften my lips and leaves a slight sheen behind. This is great for tackling really dry lips and although I wouldn't normally spend all that money on such a product this is a good product and I will consider buying this again in the future when my tube has run out.
A good product that really works.
