Advantages: Luxurious feeling cream, fights first signs of ageing.

Disadvantages: Price.

I've used Clarins Multi-Active Night Cream for a few years now and really like the product. I've switched between the cream and lotion depending on how my skin is, sometimes this can feel a bit heavy, but apart from that I cannot fault it. It is promoted as "Prevention Plus" and is aimed at the 30-40 age range where signs of ageing are just starting to show. The next range up is Super-Restorative which is for more mature skins.

I use it in conjunction with the Multi-Active Day Cream as well as a Clarins Cleanser and Toner and find that the regime is beneficial to my skin type which fluctuates between normal / combination / sensitive. I have to be careful of anything that might be too heavily perfumed or harsh but I can honestly say that I do not think any of the Clarins products that I have tried are guilty of this.

Once applied, your skin feels plumped up and firmer and it sinks in nicely, although it makes the skin a bit shiny, I don't think this really matters as you're only going to bed anyway! On rising next day, I find that my skin feels rehydrated, refreshed and rested. Ready to face the world!

A jar of this cream usually costs around £38 at Debenhams but I'd recommend buying it when there are special promotions happening as you can get a number of travel sized products at the same time.

Summary: Gorgeous night cream which leaves skin feeling refreshed and rested.
