Disadvantages: Aplicator brush is useless

Clarins precious colours eye palette.
My make up bag is bursting with my Clarins collection of products just looking inside my guess would be there is at least £180 pounds worth or products. I wear make up everyday and have done since i was a teenager. Make to me is very important , it acts like a mask for me to hide behind, i'm very insecure about my looks and having a made up face everyday i feel beautiful and confident. Eye shadows are a bit of a nightmare for me , i'm so fussy and can never get my colours right however this has been made a little easier by Clarins.
I purchased the Clarins precious colours eye palette from Debenhams in january when they had a 20% off promotion so the set only cost me £14.99.

I love the case that comes with the small compact set, its a silver pouch that has the Clarins logo on it and a snap fastener its for storing the compact set in very nice. Clarins precious colours eye palette comes in a small oval shaped palette. Its silver in colour with, a soft moulded part on the top coloured brown as my eye shadows are mainly brown colours, this has a magnetic lid with a small mirror on the inside lid. When you lift the lid you can see they eye shadows and small applicator brush.

The applicator is small and fiddly with foam parts on the end, i don't like the applicator and only use it when i'm out or touching up but at home i use my Mac eye shadow brush. I find the eye shadow goes on beter with a brush.
Clarins precious colours eye palette contains four colours of eye shadow all in a line, these colours have been selected so they match. I have pallet with the brown more natural colours, but you do get others like purples etc.

Each colour in the pallet complements the other and many looks can be created without looking odd. My pallet is named earth eyes colour number 20 this is stated on a sticker underneath the pallet. There is a nice mocha shade of brown, light pink, bronze shade and a peach.
I have mainly used the bronze colour it has a nice sparkle to it and goes well with my dark eyes, i sometimes one the peach to blend it out. You can create a smokey eyes look by using the bronze , brown and peach together.

The powder gets sweeped over with my brush and smoothly colours my eye lid, the powder is pretty good it doesn't pick up to much on the brush nor does it brake up in the pallet.
It has staying power and the colour lasts over eight hours a day for me , i remove it with my make up remover at night and still have loads of the product coming off. I really like the precious colours eye palette, the colours are all nice, apply well, last well and the packing is very cute. I was happy with the cost of the pallet as well.

I recommend Clarins precious colours eye palette.
