I went through a faze of cutting back on things that I thought were non-essentials or where I could find cheaper alternatives as most people are having to do recently and turned my back on Clarins for some other cheaper brands. However, my skin did not like any of them. Always said I had expensive tastes. So now I have returned to Clarins and found that there are now a lot more products to choose from. I ws given two tubs of the Pure Melt Cleansing Gel by my partners mum (many many thanks) as she had recently moved over to Estee Lauder and this came with a big recommendation from her. I do try to cleanse and toner twice a day but this sometimes ... Read the complete review

I thought i would try this product instead of the usual alpine herbs cleanser i use by Clarins. It's recommended for dry skin and i like to use a cleanser in the morning and the evening. It comes in a tube of 125mls and the information tells you that it starts of as a gel, which transforms to an oil on application and then you remove it with a small amount of water which turns it into a milk. I thought this was quite unusual which is why i decided to try it for myself and it does do exactly as it says in the information that comes along with it in the box! I did find it removed my foundation, blusher etc really well although i use it once and ... Read the complete review

First Impressions After receiving a tube of this within a Clarins Gift Set, I was quite sceptical as it seemed to promise rather a lot! The tube is transparent, allowing you to see the pale yellow/orange colour of the liquid within, with red writing on. What it Promises Below is a description of the product, taken from their website; 'It's a gel, it's an oil, it's a milk... It's amazing! Imagine your cleansing wish-list all rolled into one handy tube. And here it is. A chameleon of a cleanser that starts out as a refreshing honey-coloured gel, morphs into an ultra-effective transparent cleansing oil with the warmth of a little facial ... Read the complete review

I have normal skin that is prone to breaking out in times of stress. I usually use Clarins foaming wash but decided to use this for a change. It's oily then milky consistency makes you feel that you're having a mimi spa treatment and that you're doing your skin a lot of good! I can't say that I've noticed any difference between the effects of this and the foaming cleanser though. A negative side is I usually wash my face in the shower in the mornings and as you have to apply this to dry skin I've had to get into the habit of applying it before I get in the shower then washing it off once inside! I'll be going back to the foaming cleanser once I finish this bottle just ... Read the complete review

Always on the look out for new products, I was keen to try this unique gel from Clarins, so had chosen a sample to be included with my online order from Clarins. When first squeezing the gel out of the tube, I was worried that the thick, gel consistency would not be suitable for my combination/oily skin, although it does state fro all skin types on the packaging. When rubbing on the skin the heavier gel 'melts', as the name would suggest into a lighter oil, which you can very easily massage into your face, adding a little warm water then transforms into a lightly foaming cleanser, which easily then rinses off your skin, leaving it clean, soft and gently ...
