First Impressions
After receiving a tube of this within a Clarins Gift Set, I was quite sceptical as it seemed to promise rather a lot! The tube is transparent, allowing you to see the pale yellow/orange colour of the liquid within, with red writing on.

How to Use
When I first read the back of the bottle, I found it a little confusing, as you apply it to a dry face, but you soon get used to this new approach! 'Apply Pure Melt Cleansing Gel to dry skin and massage lightly over the face and neck. In its gel form it glides into every fine line, adheres to the skin and traps dirt and make-up. As an oil, it melts and encapsulates even the heaviest, stay-fast make-up. And when you add just a touch of water, it emulsifies and turns into the perfect rinse-off cleanser. Quick, easy, efficient and suitable for all skin types. Toning is optional but not necessary'.

Price
The price of Pure Melt Cleansing Gel is £15.66 on boots.com, for 125ml. My bottle was half the size of this and you only need a tiny bit, meaning it lasts for ages. As a premium brand, I think it's definitely worth the price.

Performance
Afetr applying the gel to a dry, clean face, I massgaed it into the skin and was pleasntly surprised by how it felt so luxurious and moisturising. The oil is great as a mini-facial, and I found it really boosted my complexion. As directed, I then rinsed my face with water, and the oil magically transformed into a milk, as promised. I felt this was really nourishing and made my skin feel really clean. After rinsing the milk off, my skin felt fresh and it didn't feel tight at all. As I continued to use the product, I certainly felt that it benefited by skin, making it feel smooth and clear. I would definitely recommend this product!
