CLARINS SELF TANNING FACE LOTION
VERY HIGH PROTECTION

Well, as I use Clarins Body Tanning spray, its no use having a tanned body and a white face! I prefer to have a separate tanning lotion for my face, as the skin on the face is more delicate than the body and I do not want to end up with a reaction!

Clarins face lotion is a bronzer for the face. At this time of year I could do with a bronze as I hate having skin as white as milk. Clarins face lotion is the best as it is easy to apply and sets in easily.

The body spray mentioned in my previous opinion comes in a 150ml sized bottle. For about £12.50 you get a 50ml sized bottle of the face lotion. Although this is quite expensive, it is a good ratio to have as you will run out of both products at around the same time as the face area is a lot smaller than the body area!

The packaging is very nice and looks very summery. It comes in an orange box with an orange bottle inside. On the bottle is a white, gold, brown and yellow sun that is very attractive. It would look very nice on any dressing table. The box looks very expensive, but that?s what I expect for paying £12.50 (which is a discounted price on pharmacy2U.co.uk).

A major benefit about the face cream that is not included in the body spray is that it is 15 SPF (sun protection factor). Although I recommend that you use an additional sun cream in the summer, for this time of year it is very good at protecting your skin from aging sun rays (what sun rays, its always raining!).

This product claims that it is a light tan, which it is. I recommend using it over a few days to achieve a nice tan but even after the first use you lose that pasty edge that I hate, which is what I want for this time of year.

The lotion smells faintly of a flowery perfume, but this is quickly lost after application. This is good as a lot of fake tans smell of harsh chemicals, which makes you wonder what you ar
e actually putting on your face.

To apply this it is very easy. Make sure your face is clean and washed, then rub it in like a moisturiser. Avoid eyebrows or hairline, as this may cause staining to occur. After a couple of hours, you should have a glowing face.

One point that I forgot to mention in my body tan op but also applies to this opinion is this: AFTER PUTTING THIS STUFF ON WASH YOUR HANDS OR YOU WILL END UP WITH GRUBBY LOOKING ORANGE HANDS! Believe me, been there, done that!

One of my main reasons for loving fake tan so much as there is so many cases of skin cancer being around these days, (with my grandmother still trying to heal from hers ? the cancer has gone but she has a huge hole in her back) I still don?t learn as I love sunbathing, but at this time of year it is much safer for you to do this than using the sunbeds.

I hope that this has given you an idea of what lovely things are available for you to make you look lovely and brown, I hope that you will try it out too and see for yourself how amazing it can make you look and feel!

I think I'll stay pasty white - I have visions of missing a bit and looking like a tan-coloured zebra!
Great review, glad you are taking the safer option to get a tan!
