This is my favourite self tan ever! I can't fault it in anyway and although i regularly try out other products if i get given them or if they are on offer i ALWAYS go back to this Clarins one. Although it's called self tanning instant gel i think this is a little misleading as it does not develop instantly - i would say it's probably around three hours but i generally apply it before i go to bed and then when i wake up in the morning i have a great tan and then i apply another coat which gives me a great looking tan. I'm quite well practiced in applying fake tan anyway but this one is so easy to spread on and never gets streaky. A little goes a very long way and one 125ml tub lasts me around two to three months. After you first apply it it can feel a bit greasy so i fin the best thing to do it sit on a towel for ten mins whilst it sinks in and then dress if necessary. Whilst most fake tans have an overpowering smell this one is more subtle than others i think - but i guess we all react to products differently. I'm quite fair and this gives me a great colour but i'm not sure it would be so good for those with darker skins
