Advantages: Good for the mature woman, heavy night cream

Disadvantages: Very pricey at £66 a jar!

My mum uses this cream and her face is a testament to how good this keeps her skin. I used it for me for a time, but I did find it a little heavy for younger skin types.

My mum buys a lot of Clarins products and sometimes a goodie bag with some sort of actual bag comes free with samples. The tube my mum has is 15ml but she is weighing up getting the much larger pot of it as she likes it so much and is quite a mature woman with a face to upkeep.

This is to be used at night as the last step of a cleansing routine and to be used on the face and neck, moving in circles UPWARDS. Never smooth downwards as that is just encouraging your skin to sag! The cream is white, and looks quite standard, it has quite a rich but soft smell. Nothing too powerful to wake you or your partner from their slumber.

All of the Clarins range from the more multi-age cosmetics and day wear to the Super Restorative range for more mature skin use natural plant extracts to get bring the power of mother nature to nourish your skin. Olive and Shea butter are among these incredients which smooth and replenish and Jasmine is the light scent that perfumes the cream. To boost anti-aging, an ingredient called Selenium (its not a chemical do not fear- its another plant extract) balances out the free radicals that cause skin to sag and wrinkle and miscolour.

My mum uses this everynight and she just loves the smell... being quite a mature woman, people say she looks 20 years younger than she actually is... her secret is starting off facial routines from a young age....

Summary: The price you pay for beauty in later life is quite extraordinary...maybe worth it?
