As i am approaching 40 (eeek), I decided to revamp my skin care routine (ie get one!) and toddled off to the Clinique counter voucher in hand. My skin is a typical combination skin - as confirmed by the little device on the counter. I have never been a fan of moisturisers, as I find them to be too heavy on my face. I also find that most make the oily bits too greasy. So I wasn t really expecting anything marvellous. However, I could not believe how lovely this moisturiser is. 	Clinique Clarifying Lotion Mild ... dirt into your face! Instead I just opt for the moisturiser in the daytime and then at night use all three steps when I m having a shower or getting ready for bed. The Result I ve been using the clarifying lotion for half a year now and overall I m quite impressed with it. My skin has been a lot clearer looking than prior to using Clinique s three step which is a good thing. However despite this being for dry skin I ve found it does have the tendency to dry my skin out further a little, especially in the colder months and around the chin area. 	Clinique Lip Brush ... found when I m looking for a more sophisticated look, this method of application really works well for me. So why the Clinique brush then? Well to be honest it was the first one I tried and in some sort of weird loyalty I ve never really strayed to any others. The few others I ve tried don t seem to offer the same feel to them as the Clinique. It seems to really give the best finish of any brushes I ve had since first trying this one. The real appeal of the Clinique version is the even finish it allows and the plump look it gives to my lips following application.
