3 steps to heavenly skin (Clinique 3-Step Skin System)

I have to tell you I had always been a bit optimistic about buying the Clinique 3 step because it was a fairly expensive habit to have to keep up, but to my delight i recieved it as a present for christmas, let me tell you about it and see what you think.

STEP ONE
This is a fairly large bar of soap (about double the length of an ordinary bar of soap) which comes in its very own case, it is unscented.
I was quite pleased that with the minimal of effort the soap lathered in my hands very quickly, rubbing it on my dampened face and neck i felt a tingly but refreshing sensation.
I must have rubbed it onto my face and neck for about 2 minutes then rinsed it off but the fresh feeling remained after rinsing, already there was a distinct difference to my skin, I felt that my face had been thoroughly cleaned and there was a coolness to my skin. I gently patted my face dry with a towel in preperation for the next step.

STEP TWO
This one is a 487ml bottle of Clarifying Lotion which has a handy push down lid which makes it easier to dispense.
I got a piece of cotton wool and dispensed some of the liquid onto it. On contact with my skin i noticed a far stronger cooling effect and there was a slight perfumed smell which was very fresh. I continued to wipe the cotton on my face avoiding the eye area so as not to sting my eyes and down my neck. I can feel a slight tightening of the skin as it dries, it feels great.

STEP THREE
The third and final step is a 125ml bottle of Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion which doesn`t really have a great smell.
I placed a pea sized amount on my finger and dabbed it into different places on my face and neck (honestly that is all you need) Then rubbed it in, it soaked in very well and was not at all greasy, it left my skin feeling very soft, supple and moisturized.

CONCLUSION
Just to let you know, I am still on that same 3 step that I got at christmas, using it morning and n
ight and i still have about a quarter of it left, so it is great value for money. My skin is great and people always comment on it, it is so soft and fresh looking and I will never go back now that I hve started. Although I cannot say exactly what the price is (as you can`t exactly ask the price of a gift) I can estimate it at about £40 but I may be wrong.
