Being a big fan of Clinique foundation, I decided to give one of their concealers a go. I first tried the Clinique Airbrush concealer about a year ago.

This product currently costs £17.00 for a 1.5ml concealer. It can be bought at any Clinique stand. I usually buy mine in Boots so I can benefit from advantage card points.

The concealer is a pen style concealer with a brush on the end. It has a silver cap. The bottom twists to allow more concealer to be released into the brush. The lid on the pen is very secure which is a must because I absolutely hate make up spilling in my make up bag.

On initial use you need to twist the bottom quite a few times to get some concealer up into the brush but after this, one click is sufficient to release enough concealer. The concealer is in a liquid form. Only a small amount of concealer is required as it goes quite far.

To this product you simply click up enough concealer and then apply it to your skin using the brush on the pen. Alternatively you could brush it onto your finger and apply using fingertips. I usually apply it straight to the skin with the brush and then use my fingertips to blend.

I use this product underneath my eyes and around my nose. This is the best concealer for under eyes I have us to date. It really fixes any under-eye discolouration and leaves my skin illuminated. The result is a more wide awake and fresh look. This doesn't go chalky or crease under your eyes as I have found other concealers do.

I find that after applying the concealer stays in place all day. I do not usually touch up during the day.

I find that with almost daily use, one of these concealer pens lasts me around 4-5 months. I therefore think that while it's a great product, it is not the best value for money! I do love the results of this concealer and tend to buy it when I'm feeling flush. For the simple reason of the price tag, I give this product 4 stars.
