I have oily and spot prone skin. It can be kept under control but I need to ensure that I properly remove my make up at the end of the day to ensure that I don't get new blemishes. For this purpose, I bought the Anti-Blemish Solutions Cleansing Foam by Clinique after having been happy with a similar product by Simple. What does the product do? The product has been designed in order to remove dirt, oil and make up from the skin. It unclogs the pores which prevents blemishes from forming leaving the skin clean and clear. It also calms and soothes sensitive skin and also reduces the redness of your complexion. The mild product leaves the skin soft and ... Read the complete review

The reason I have used this product was due to the 3 step system recommended to me by the sale consultant while I was trying to find a solution to my aggressive acne problem. The cleansing foam is the step 1 of the 3 step anti-blemish unit and pledges to work by clearing the dirt from the pores and leaving your skin silky smooth. My experience, however, seems to be against this claim. From the appearance, it looks like any other generic Clinique products; simple looking but the plastic was of pretty good quality. The bottle colour is of pale turquoise and opaque. It has a pump attached which is easy to use; it can easily be pressed down to dispense the foam. ... Read the complete review

Thankfully I have recently left my teenage years behind me, and what a rollercoaster they were for my poor skin. As well as having quite fair and sensitive skin, I was always (and to a certain extent still am) prone to breakouts. In the magazines, you can't turn a page for seeing adverts on all the various spot treatments, Freederm, Clearasil, Neutrogena, Tea-Tree and Clean and Clear to name a few. It was whilst buying make-up in my local House of Fraser that I first came across Clinique products at their counter. I noticed they seemed much more interested in individual skin types and skin research as a whole, than your average high street brand of products ... Read the complete review

From my previous reveiws you may have gathered that I have very tempramental skin. So, on my quest to find my ideal cleanser I was recommeneded Clinique. I toddled off to my local Boots and spoke to the Clinique consultant. She decided that the anti-blemish cleansing pack. She actually guaranteed that I would not react to it at all. Given this guarantee I bought the trial pack to test it. As it was the trial size that I bought it was a smaller sized bottle (7 fl oz). Its a little green see through bottle with a pump action nozzle. This little bottle is apparently meant to last 4 weeks if used morning and evening. Erm, no, its just plainly not going ... After trying too many different facial products and never quite getting the result I want, my mum recommended trying some products from the Clinique range. I received a few different products in a set and one included the Clinique Anti-Blemish Solutions Cleansing Foam. As part of a 3 Step skin care routine, the anti-blemish foam forms the first step. ~Packaging~ It comes in the normal blue green see through bottle which is now associated with Clinique. I always find that the bottle although quite modern looking, always looks quite classy with the silver writing, and I find myself positioning it a place where all can see when having people over ...
