Advantages: Great coverage, nice scent, light dewy feel

Disadvantages: It's among the more expensive foundations

I am 27 years old, and therefore exceedingly frustrated to still have "teenage skin". In my case this tends to manifest itself in breakouts around my chin area, and although my skin doesn't feel greasy to the touch, it is never dry either.

So, if you have skin like me, you will know the trials of foundation searching. I've tried several expensive foundations, and the cheaper ones too, and until using Clinique I would have sided for a high street brand because I never found an expensive foundation that was worth the extra cash.

Until now! I treated myself to this product at the airport (oh I love duty free!) and it cost £22.50 for a 30ml bottle. I'm rather pale so use colour 02 fresh ivory. It comes in a smart looking bottle with a silver top and a plastic nozzle.

You only need a really small amount, and I only use it on my t-zone usually anyway. It has a really smooth silky feel, and as soon as you smooth it onto your face you can feel the difference. The hardest thing about problem skin is that you want coverage, but without it feeling (or looking!) thick and heavy and this does exactly that. It blends in perfectly and has great coverage, while making your skin glow and look really youthful. I sometimes layer it up over any really angry red areas, but otherwise one layer is enough. If I'm having a good day, sometimes I just mix with my moisturiser and spread it all over to look dewy.

I've had this for over 1 year now, and I use it probably every other day but in very small amounts. The only downside is that after a couple of plane trips the cap can get clogged up with dried foundation so I sometimes use a wet wipe to clear this up.

I honestly can't see myself using anything else now, and if you have "problem skin" I would really recommend it.

One other thing: apparently if you're on the greasy end of the scale you'll have less problems with wrinkles in the future so fingers crossed for when "teenage skin" makes us stay looking like teenagers!

Summary: Don't put off trying this, it's a winner.
