... it gives it an air of exclusivity as it seems to be hard to come by.
The bottle is pretty simple and is just a clear glass bottle wth the name etched into it and a silver lid. I wouldn't say it is masculine and I think this is what confused me with it as it doesn't say anything on it about it being a man's fragrance. The only reason I even know it is for men is that I went on the clinique website to see if they sold any other products in the range and it was listed under aftershaves.

I actually came across Chemistry by Clinique by accident in the airport and fell so in love with the scent that I had to buy a bottle. It was like nothing else I had smelt before and was really invigorating and fresh. I assumed it was a new range they had just come out with as I had never seen or heard of it before and it wasn't later until I got home that I found out it is actually an aftershave for men and it has been around awhile. I didn't let this put me off as the scent is absolutely stunning and it doesn't smell overly masculine to me. Clinique Chemistry is my all time favourite smell. I had never seen or even heard of chemistry before untill one time i was in Newcastle airport and my flight had been delayed so i decided to browse the aftershave section of the duty free shop to kill some time and seen it on the shelf next to the men's happy fragrance. It was love at first smell as soon as i sprayed some on myself. The smell itself is really fresh and what i can only describe as being a clean scent and according to clinique it is a mix of Jamacian ginger, amber and citrus.
