A must have for Contact Lense Wearers (Clinique Colour Surge Eye Shadow Quad)

I have tried a few of Clinique's products before in the past, normally just the trial eye shadows and mascaras that come in those gift packs but never use Clinique Colour Surge before and I must say the quality of this makeup is excellent, but then it should be for the rrp of £22.00.

I know that sounds like a lot of money, but it does really show with the quality.

Clinique Colour Surge Eye Shadow Quad is a powder based eye shadow that comes in various colours, Spicy, Polar Blue, Plum Seduction, Chocó-Latte and Bamboo Pink. You get 4 eye shadows in one compact.

The packaging is wonderful sleek, with eye catching mirrored outside and including a mirror inside so you can do your eye shadow while on the go. You also get the usual applicator brush but also a sweeping style brush but I don't really like using this one as it doesn't seem to work as much.

The great thing about Clinique's products are they are hypo-allergenic and if you are a contact lense wearer like myself you may want to give Clinique a try as I have found with cheaper brands that I always got irritated and sore eyes from the eye shadow as the fine dust rests on the contact lenses. Believe me it is really painful when you have makeup in your eye!

I recently purchased Chocó-Latte colour for my wedding day as I wanted to try a luxury brand and was doing my own make up so I thought I would treat myself, and it was basically an excuse to buy it anyway as I have been wanting to try it for ages but could never justify in spending so much money on an eye shadow.

Before I use to just buy cream eye shadows as they were great too for not irritating my eyes but they just give a shimmer more then a matt look.

But if you look at it this way, you get 4 colours in 1! So it's not like you are just getting one colour for £22.

Clinique's eye shadows blend so well and last all day and all night. And they don't go all flaky and break up like cheaper make up brands.

From my experience paying extra for this eye shadow is a definite must for me, it will last ages and keep my eyes from getting irritated.

Would not use anything else now!
