I have tried dozens of body lotions and body butters, many of which I have received in christmas gift sets and these are generally fruit themed. For some reason my family members seem to think that I want to smell like a strawberry. Sorry folks, strawberries really clash with Chanel Chance perfume. My personal preference, and the body butter that I return to time and time again, is this Clinique deep comfort body butter. The packaging is simple, a screw top heavy bottomed glass jar if you buy the 200ml body butter and a cream coloured plastic tube if you are lucky enough to get a freebie during a Clinique Bonus Time give away. At the moment I'm using a ... Read the complete review

I was lucky enough to receive this product free from Clinique and as everyone knows I love free things! Packaging. The 24ml tube is small <10 cm makeup bag size with a screw top box. The one to buy is 200ml tub. I prefer the packaging of the freebe as it is easier to travel with and it's below the 100ml liquid limit so it can fly with you. So if you buy a tub of it, it may also be worth while asking if they have any of the little ones spare. The tub is also quite heavy so I wouldn't take it traveling even if it could fly. The product: What is it? It is a body moisturiser Which promises "Fragrance free. Butter rich. intensively ... Read the complete review

Clinique are a brand I usually avoid simply because they are so expensive. I recently wanted a mascara for a special occasion though and whilst at the counter was sale-talked into buying two products in order to recieve a whole lot of Clinique goodies. This 75ml or 2.5 Fl oz. tube of body butter was one of the promotional items. My offer - purchase two make-up items at around £15 each and which included a free tote bag, lip gloss, eye cream and make-up removal set was quite reasonable considering a 200ml tub of this moisturising butter costs around £20 at Boots. The brand describe the butter as being 'rich' and 'intensively replenishing. They claim the butter ... Read the complete review

I didn't actually buy this myself but got a few 50ml bottles as samples. To be honest I wouldn't generally buy things like body lotion from a brand like Clinique because I think they are far too expensive for something that isn't going on your face, and doesn't really need to be good quality. I've looked into it and it is £13.50 for a 200ml bottle if you were to buy it from the official Clinique site. *Packaging* To be honest I'm not that keen on the packaging (which is the same on the sample bottle as the full sized) I usually like the clean, simple look of Clinique products, but I found this bottle a bit too boring, and almost dated looking. It is an ... Read the complete review

I love free gifts. Especially when you happen to be standing at the Clinique counter in Boots when you get them! I went shopping on Saturday for a present for my friend, and had decidided to buy her some lovely Clinique things as she's just bought a house and is too poor at the moment to treat herself. So there I am, trying in vain to remember the names of the products I know she likes, with the very posh Clinique lady staring open eyed at me like I have my glasses on upside down, as I describe the 2 items I want to buy. Describing them was no problem - remembering what they were called was quite another. Maternal amnesia, apparently! So having made myself ... Read the complete review
