Advantages: Leaves skin really smooth

Disadvantages: Hard to rub in, leaves skin sticky

I didn't actually buy this myself but got a few 50ml bottles as samples. To be honest I wouldn't generally buy things like body lotion from a brand like Clinique because I think they are far too expensive for something that isn't going on your face, and doesn't really need to be good quality. I've looked into it and it is £13.50 for a 200ml bottle if you were to buy it from the official Clinique site.

*Packaging*
To be honest I'm not that keen on the packaging (which is the same on the sample bottle as the full sized) I usually like the clean, simple look of Clinique products, but I found this bottle a bit too boring, and almost dated looking. It is an odd dusty yellow colour with black block lettering. The bottle works fine though and it doesn't all come pouring out too fast like some other bottles.

*The Moisturiser*
To begin with I thought I was going to like it...it came out and I realised it was really thick, a bit like the body shop body butter I have tried. But when I started rubbing it in I realised it was a bit too thick. I suppose this would be good for your skin, but it was really difficult to rub in because of how thick it was, and I found I was pulling at my skin a lot to do it. Also I found I had to use quite a lot to get it to cover my skin, because it just didn't spread very well.

Once it is on it has quite a heavy sticky feeling which lasts for about an hour afterwards, so its definitely not good if you're getting dressed and going out anywhere after. But even if I put it on before bed the way it felt on my skin just wasn't nice.

I must admit once it had soaked in my skin did feel really smooth, so it does work!
I also wasn't very impressed with the smell. I expected it to be either fragrance free or a really nice fresh smell. Instead it was like a kind of cocoa smell which wasn't strong but I still didn't really like it.

*Overall Opinion*
It does leave your skin soft but I didn't find it pleasant to use and I definitely wouldn't consider buying it, particularly with the expensive price tag.
