Advantages: Suits absolutely everyone, Looks great on your dressing table

Disadvantages: Tricky to get the last bit out!

Unless you've been in a coma for the past thirty years - it's quite likely you will at least have heard of Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturiser.

There is such a major following of devotees for this product, I believe that there is a bottle sold somewhere every four seconds!

I am the first to admit that it's a lot to pay for a basic face cream, but a £24 large bottle will last you up to a year if used correctly. As with all the Clinique range, the quality is such that you never need very much of anything.

The beauty of this face cream is that it is so similar to the skin's natural oils that it cannot irritate even the most sensitive of skins and evens out any skin type from dry to oily to different all over.

I have very dry skin, so I always use this as a 'first coat'. I find it brings my skin up to a 'normal' condition, that I can then treat with whatever extras I feel it needs that day.

There is no perfume, no sunscreen, no tint, no anti-age ingredient. It is very lightweight and sinks in without trace.

I have had a much clearer complexion since using this product. It may be due to other factors too, but I'd rather not tempt fate by doing without it just to test the theory!

My only reservation is the packaging. I absolutely love the stylish look of the clear container, shiny top and simple graphics but it's just not practical! Have you ever tried getting the very last drop out of a square container? There's always some out of reach in the corner and it drives me mad trying to get at it from the tiny opening at the top!

The pump action top that they have brought out as a limited edition a couple of times, does help - so hang onto it if you get your hands on one! But otherwise you'll have to settle for keeping it up-side-down for the last few applications.

If you get the chance, give this product a try when they've got one
of their lovely bonuses on and you'll get a whole lot of treats to use with it.
