I am very careful what I use on my very sensitive skin. Occasionally, like most adults, I get dry flaky patches on my neck and face that get red and hurt like blue blazes. i also occasionally get those horrible red bumps on my face that feel like they are going to be a spot, but just are red, sore lumps that get bigger and redder. GRRRR Of course, one of the first steps to maintaining good skin is to ensure all products you are using are compatible. If using a particular astringent to clean, and another brand to moisturise, and yet another to soothe irritation, you can be exacerbating your problem. Your astringent may be helping control your oily patches, but ... Read the complete review

For me buying toiletries and beauty products is one of my favourite pastimes. Saying that though I love my bargains and tend to be someone who buys stuff cos I fancy it and never feel that I need it lol! However that means that I have loads of stuff and I'm covered for any eventuality really! However I tend to suffer with upset skin. I'm not sure if it's angry with me personally or with the world though so I try to ignore it to be truthful lol. I use a decent face wash daily to try combat spots and blackheads, I always cleanse and tone after using make-up (even if I don't I use a face wipe!) and I use all sorts of moisturisers, lotions and potions and think to ... Having read the two opinions above, this cream seemed to be the one thing that promised to get rid of my skin problems. and that, finally, I would be able to get up in the morning and not feel the immediate overwhelming urge to put as much makeup on my face as humanly possible to cover everthing up as soon as possible. However, after parting with my hard earned £20.00 and after using the cream for about 3 weeks I know that the results I had been waiting for just weren't going to happen. The product promises to soothe skin and to take away ang irritation and redness, however, after using the product on the irritated red areas of my face every morning and ... Read the complete review

Clinique's cream for upset skin has been a lifesavour. It help sooth irritated skin and is ideal for anyone who has itchy, sore, or red skin or eczema. It comes in a lotion or a cream. This cream contain hydrocortisone which is safe to use on the face and other delicate areas. Previously i had been using a cream with steroids in to get rid of the eczema on my face. I was apprehensive about using this cream as i thought it would bring up my eczema worse, but I was pleasently surprised. I applied it to my eczema and it put moisture into it, relieved the itch, got rid of the redness and just made it less obvious. I have now been using it for just ... Read the complete review

I have eczema which makes it really hard for me to find an effective moisturiser that suits me. I was getting a little tired of being told by the doctor that I should only use Cream E45. I found Ciniques' "Exceptionally Soothing Cream For Upset Skin" by chance. What prompted me to buy it was that I found out that it contains hydrocortisone, which is a mild topical (applied to the skin) steroid, which is used to treat inflamed skin. Whenever I have any dry, itchy, flaky patches due to my eczema, I will apply some on day and night and it will clear up in two to three days. What I like most about this cream is that it is unperfumed. It says on ... Read the complete review
