Advantages: A miracle cure!

Disadvantages: Price

Clinique's cream for upset skin has been a lifesavour. It help sooth irritated skin and is ideal for anyone who has itchy, sore, or red skin or eczema. It comes in a lotion or a cream.

This cream contain hydrocortisone which is safe to use on the face and other delicate areas. Previously i had been using a cream with steroids in to get rid of the eczema on my face. I was apprehensive about using this cream as i thought it would bring up my eczema worse, but I was pleasently surprised.

I applied it to my eczema and it put moisture into it, relieved the itch, got rid of the redness and just made it less obvious. I have now been using it for just over a year. Normally, during the winter, my face is very bad and I am prone to eczema breakouts. This winter I have had none because of applying this cream regularly.

Although it is pricy, it is very much worth it.

I really want to buy this as I have really irritated sensitive skin, I don't have eczema or a skin condition but the skin on my cheeks is extremely sensitive and is always red and a bit blotchy- do you think that it is worth me buying this? Please be honest as I am a poor student and wouldn't usually pay over a tenner for a moisturiser. Also-did you buy it in a cream or the lotion? Which do you think is better? And have you ever tried Immulia's soothing treatment cream that you can get in Boots special dermacare counters? If you have was that any good. Sorry to bombard you with questions but I could really do with your help. Thanx-Missy

hydrocortisone is a topical corticosteroid commonly used for treating eczema - that would be why :-)
