Advantages: Brilliant for women with dry lips, lovely colours

Disadvantages: Having to carry the pot and little brush around all the time, because the colour is quite intense on the darker colours putting it on with your finger is not a good idea

I don't wear make up that often, but I ALWAYS have a pot of Glosswear in my bag. I have been using it for about 5 years and wouldn't be without it. I hate lipsticks because I find them really drying (even the creamy ones) and I find the colour too strong, but I also hate most lip glosses! I find that lip glosses are usually so shiny that people can't take their eyes of your gob. Clinique Glosswear is different in that it is quite thick, it's more like a lip balm than a gloss. It also contains oils and a factor 8 sunscreen. What I really like about Glosswear is that it is very versatile. If you apply it and blot it you end up with a pretty stain of colour on your lips or you can pile it on if you want it glossy. I buy it in three colours:- Air Kiss (a very light pink), Tenderheart (a suit-everyone browny-pink) and Raspberry Jam (a lovely dark pinky/red colour). They also do it in a dark plummy shade which would really suit dark-skinned women. A lot of coloured lip glosses don't look much when you put them on, but the colour doesn't 'disappear' as soon as you put this stuff on. I think Glosswear costs about £8, but I find that a pot will last me about 6-12 months so it isn't that expensive really.
