This is my first lipstick review; I am more of a gloss girl but having been shopping in John Lewis during one of the Clinique Bonus time I managed to get hold of one of these High Impact Lip Colour sticks and decided to try it out. As this was a sample of the product it comes in a slightly less appealing compartment to the silver full priced version being Clinique's classic pale green colour in a plastic tube. I am not a huge fan of lipstick in general and usually prefer to wear a gloss but for a recent wedding I decided to invest in a lip stick for a change to give myself a little bit more of a sophisticated look. ~High Impact lipstick with a price to match!~ ********************************** Amongst the range of Clinique make up products I have used are the Clinique High Impact Lipsticks which come nicely presented in smart and stylish silver toned cases that hold a good amount of lip colour within an easy to use case. For Christmas most of my presents seem to be makeup and perfume as I do not often spoil myself through the year my partner decides at special occasions he will do it for me. This Christmas I received a lot of clinique products and one of these being this high impact lip colour I have it in sunset glow as this is a more natural pinky lip colour but there are many different shades and I am sure a shade to suit everybody. As those of you who read my reviews will know I am a Clinique - a - holic and I generally trust the brand completely. Aside from one very disappointing episode with their Facial Soap, I am a fan and when my partner text to say a little Clinique pop-up stand had made an appearance at work, I wasted no time in sending over instructions on what products I'd like buying... as a 'present' of course!
