I love clinique make up but find it very pricey. Whenever it is a special occasion and I'm asked if I would like a present I always ask for Clinique. It is fantastic quality and does make me feel as though I am treating myself.

I have this lip stick although Clinique call it 'lip colour'. It comes in a shiny metal stick which -unlike the picture- mine doesn't have the engraved rings round it. It looks very sleek and a lot nicer than the other brands of lip stick that I have.

The colour I have is a lovely pale brown which I wasn't sure about at first but suits my pale skin tone beautifully.

Applying it is easy, it comes onto my lips easily without having to press on and I don't have to keep going over and over them, usually just one sweeping motion is enough and it looks fine! It is slightly shaped but after a few uses it soon goes quite rounded but I don't find this a problem, it is still easy to apply.

It looks good, it isn't very in your face but more subtle which is what I like.

It's staying power isn't fantastic but I haven't found a brand which is able to make it stay on for much more than half an hour. I do have to touch this up a bit.

I do think that it looks nice and it goes well with the other clinique products. I like how it looks and it lasts a long time- I have had mine over a year and wear it rather regularly but it is still going strong which is great as I know it was expensive so it is good to know this will last. I am very pleased with it and highly recommend.
