I have never bought expensive brands like Clinique as I cannot afford them. This was a birthday gift from a relative that I don't usually see much of. **** Using It*** When I first scoop some of this soap onto my hands, it looks more like gel than actual soap. If I put my finger on what it reminds me of, I would say that it is a lot like Simple's foaming facial wash, both in terms of look and smell. The most noticeable difference between the two products for me though (other than the price!) is that this doesn't seem as drying. I have used the simple facial wash in the past and it tended to dry more skin out a lot but this wasn't the case here. It ... Read the complete review

Clinique's liquid facial soap was recommended to me about a year ago as part of the current 3 step system. I wanted a system that was going to help clear my skin and to just keep my face as healthy as possible really. Priced at about £12 a bottle, it was pretty expensive to buy, but I was willing to pay for quality and therefore purchased without hesitation. The whole 3 step system cost me about £45 total and has lasted me the best part of a year so was worth it in the long run. The bottle is of decent size, and is green, its a sort of see thru green though as it shows the liquid inside. I like this as it is easy to tell how much I have left in the ... I have been using the Clinique 3 step system for about 5 years after being introduced by a friend, and now I wouldn't use anything else. I started off using the soap bar, but I found these a bit messy so decided to give the liquid facial soap a go when I first saw it. It has a plunger so you get product right down to the bottom of the bottle with little effort, and it looks like a clear gel when you squeeze it into your hand. You squeeze it into wet hands, lather it up and then apply to your wet face as you would normal soap. It's fragrance free, which suits me as I don't like strong smelling facial washes, and not allergenic. Once it's rinsed off my skin ... Read the complete review

I bought the other two parts of Clinique's 'three step system,' before buying the facial cleansing soap. I thought 'what can this do that anothe soap can't?' But I was so impressed with the other two products that I decided to give it a go. At £13 it's not cheap, but given the amount of time it lasts, it's not all that expensive on a cost per use basis. Aesthetically, the product is brilliant, it looks great in your bathroom and it's easy to clean. Practically, it really works. There's no fiddling around with a screw top or a flip cap, you just push and go, it's as simple as that. So if you have wet hands, it doesn't take an age to get what you ... Read the complete review

I recently received as a gift lots of small versions of many clinique products. Out of all of them this is one of the ones I will carry on buying. I have slightly oily skin and am prone to spots on my chin which have cleared up since I have been using this facial soap along with clinique toner and facial lotion. I have also got rid of all the clogged pores and blackheads on my nose. This facial soap is perfect for my skin, it doesn't dry it out but my skin does feel clean and tight after each use. It's not cheap but you only need a tiny amount so it lasts a really long time. Also - I got some in my eyes the other day and it didn't sting which is a bonus! If you do get ...
