Advantages: Convenient, easier to use and less messy than soap bars

Disadvantages: If I had to give one, the taste!

I have been using the Clinique 3 step system for about 5 years after being introduced by a friend, and now I wouldn't use anything else. I started off using the soap bar, but I found these a bit messy so decided to give the liquid facial soap a go when I first saw it.

It has a plunger so you get product right down to the bottom of the bottle with little effort, and it looks like a clear gel when you squeeze it into your hand. You squeeze it into wet hands, lather it up and then apply to your wet face as you would normal soap. It's fragrance free, which suits me as I don't like strong smelling facial washes, and not allergenic. Once it's rinsed off my skin feels lovely and fresh and clean, and prepped for the toner (step 2).

It comes in 200ml bottle which cost around £20, I know it sounds expensive but a bottle lasts me for at least 6 months. The only small disadvantage is it tastes vile if you happen to get any in your mouth! I love Clinique products and this is brilliant for giving that clean feeling without the tightness.

Summary: All the benefits of the Clinique soap bars but more convenient, pricey but so worth it!
