I bought the other two parts of Clinique's 'three step system,' before buying the facial cleansing soap. I thought 'what can this do that anothe soap can't?' But I was so impressed with the other two products that I decided to give it a go. At £13 it's not cheap, but given the amount of time it lasts, it's not all that expensive on a cost per use basis.

Aesthetically, the product is brilliant, it looks great in your bathroom and it's easy to clean. Practically, it really works. There's no fiddling around with a screw top or a flip cap, you just push and go, it's as simple as that. So if you have wet hands, it doesn't take an age to get what you need.

At first, the smell took me by surprise, it's very fragrant, but it does smell clean and you learn to love it. I would say 2-3 pumps is enough for your face, but do an extra 1 if you want to use it in the shower or something. The soap goes quite foamy and it feels very soft against your skin. When you wash it off your skin feels supple and fresh.

It really helped, and allows the other two products to work better. I would recommend this product to anyone who needs a decent skincare regime. Before, I would have frequent outbursts but now my skin is completely clear. I love Clinique products and I think they are greta value for money.
