I love my make-up, I love lipticks and gloss, I love Clinique, but I have been very disappointed with this product. I have bought the Clinique Long Last Glosswear now n two separate occasions, and too my real shame, it has been a complete disappointment on both occasions.

The product comes in a nice little container with silver writing, and a silver top that contains a little applicator brush, and certainly looks the part. It comes in a huge variety of colours, and there is certainly one for every taste and skin tone. And it certainly is wearable, and mositurising.

Now what has been the problem then you might ask? Well, on both occasions now within a week of purchase, the product has started to smell extremely bad, and I can think of no kinder way to describe it than a "rotten" smell. The smell was so bad that I literally could not bear bring it near my lips. I have not had this experience with any other similar gloss type product ever before either.

I believe there is a bacterial reaction that occurs after it has been opened and exposed to oxygen, and was most disappointed when I went back to the Clinique counter ot discuss this with the counter rep, and was told the smell was normal!

It has therefore put me off from trying this product again, which is a shame, as I am normally a huge fan of Clinique.

Summary: Disappointing product, wont buy again
