Advantages: great shade, stays on well, nice packaging

Disadvantages: price

Yesterday I got an e-mail saying that the House Of Fraser were having a 25% and 20% sale off special day so I knew I just had to pay a visit. I was mainly interested in looking at the clothes but would also see what other great things there were. I went in and the shop was decorated, the staff were busy and I went to look at clothes. After much deciding I evntually got two great tops, as if I really needed anymore but they are perfect for the summer.

After hours of browsing I eventually went to the perfume and make up counters to see what all the fuss was about. I saw teh BeneFit make up had great offers about 10% off which is good but I didn't decide to buy from them and wanted to have more choice. I then looked at the Chanel counter I am desperate to get the Coco Mademoiselle products but also decided to leave it today. I then wanted the Lancome Juicy tubes but didn't want them that much and then finally the Clinique logo shone out a ray of light that made everything glow around me, well not quite but it caught my attention.

I then realised my sight had been attracted here for a reason, there was a great offer on buy any two Clinique products and get a Bonus Time Box, this offer was too good to miss. I got an eyeshadow and then had to decide what to get with it so then I thought well why not a lipstick. I asked an assistant over who then told me that there was a 'long lasting' or sheer moisturising which were the two main she seemed to intorduce me to.

I picked out a shade which attracted me and I thought would match my skin tone. The shade was a mix of brown and pink with a touch of red which looked dark but it's the type of colour which is quite natural and that I didn't have in my collection. The assistant asked me if I would like to test it out so I said yes. The lipstick went on very nicely and much more natural and lighter than the stick looked. It gave just a hint of colour enough to make my lips look full
er and more colourful but to also be able to wear anywhere.

I decided on this lipstick, the sheer one looked nice but this shade was the one I wanted, the shade is number 97 Iced Ginger. I took my two products to pay for and got my fabulous box of products. The lip stick costs £11.50 but it is worth it there is a lot of the stick and it is 4g of colour.

The lipstick does stay on for a long time and it is great not having to re-apply regulrly., it is worth it alone for that. These lipsticks have a wide variety of shades to suit all skin tones and there is something everyone will like.

Inside my free gift I got a sheer moisture lipstick so in a way I got both. This glides on and makes my lips feel smoother. The colour was nice and I would wear it.

The packaging the lipstick came in is very nice. It is in a box just the right size for the lipstick with the silver Clinique logo on it. I would say the background pattern is green leaves and pink and yellow flowers but hazy and magnified making it hard to identify. The website and company address are on the side. The ingredients are told. I love the case of the lipstick it is in a very posh silver with a pressed in spiral so that it gives a 3D effect of a spiral going round the case.

Overall a very satisifed customer, great offer and the lipstick is a great buy. This offer is still on and I am sure it is on at every House of Fraser store in the country but check other department stores I am only aware of the House Of Fraser stores doing this.

My only problem with lippy from a male perspective is that it tastes so bloody awful, from the outside that is. So we progress to the ear lobe only to find a lump of metal. What is a man to do? I only gave a useful rating as I don?t think I will rush out and get some slapped on Sorry applied. Very sexy op.
