I stumbled across the Clinique's range of products for men completely by accident. For months I had poopooed them as being overpriced and probably not making a whole lot of difference- (in fact I had mercilessly ripped the 'you know what' out of a friend for several months...)- I feel rather silly now.

I bought a set of 5 comprising the Soap, Scruffing Lotion, Facial Scrub, Shave Cream and the M Lotion- and I've been using these consistently for about 2 months now, and the difference is profound. I thought I had healthy skin beforehand, but they have genuinely made a huge difference- people actually comment, out of the blue, that my skin is looking good(!)- this scared me to start with, but I'm getting used to the idea of random compliments!

Back to the point- the Facial Scrub, as described before, contains rounded granules of sand, which as you rub the scrub into your face gently exfoliate your skin, leaving it looking fresh and youthful. Its very lightly fragranced, and I personally thought, despite the menthol, it smells of aniseed- vaguely. While you're actually 'rubbing it in' your skin tingles and gradually becomes revitalised- its a great feeling, and when you've finished, you actually feel rather special. Afterall who couldn't use a little pampering from time to time?

It doesn't take too long to use -only about 2 minutes, which isn't really a great deal of time to find. Oh, and I really should add that although the Clinique products may seem a little expensive compared to others, they last much longer, as you don't need to use as much. I'd say they may be 3 times the price, but they last (roughly) 3 times as long- there's nothing to lose!

I am assured that after having used the set for 2 months my skin is much softer to touch-and this is definitely a bonus(!)
