Advantages: Reduces shine and absorbs excess oil

Disadvantages: Is expensive and not good for skin with breakouts already appearing

Essentially, this is a very good product. It does exactly what it claims to do, which is reduce shine and absorb excess oil in problem areas such as the forehead, nose and chin. It is a powder-based gel, which in all my experiments with these sorts of products, is the only formula that actually gets the job done.

Having said that, there are a few problems though. If you have oily skin that is prone to breakouts, smearing this on can spread the already present bacteria to other parts of the face and as a result, cause spots to spread. If you have a bad breakout, I really wouldn't reccommend using this until it has started to clear up. On clear skin that is just a bit oily however, this product works brilliantly.

The other negative is the price, especially for how much is actually in the £11 tube. 15mls is not a lot and if you are using this product regularly, it is going to run out very quickly. The size is great for your handbag but not so good for your bank balance!

It is also more of a quick fix than a product that actually solves the problem of excess oil production. There are many other products out there that actually help regulate the sebaceous glands, whereas this just mops up the excess oil, products such as Origins Oil Refiner will help regulate your skin over time.

Summary: Is great if you can afford it, but products that actually regulate oil production do a better job
