I received this 125 ml Post-Shave Soother in a pack of Clinique products. The pack contained a 100 ml tube of face scrub and a 125 ml squeezy bottle of M Shave Aloe Gel that I bought duty free for £17.00. That works out at about £8.50 each item and this was FREE! Apparently, the other name for it is Post Shave Healer and it certainly does just that. The shaving cream is phenomenal as far as I am concerned and, although Clinique products may seem pricey, it is definitely worth it even at UK prices. Yesterday I had a luxurious shave using the aloe gel and finished off with a spot of Clinique Post-Shave Soother Beard Control Formula…to give it it's full ... Read the complete review

Ok, maybe that title was a bit strong. It's not quite in the "life-saver" league. I mean, if you're having a cardiac arrest a defibrillator would be much more use, and if you've fallen out of a place I think you'd rather have a parachute with you than a bottle of this, but you know what I mean. Now I don't want to sound like a wimp, but along with quite a lot of other men I suffer from razor rash (or burn depending upon what mood you are in!). I try to reduce this as nuch as possible by having a hot shower before shaving, using a good shaving cream, and a Mach 3 razor, but I still suffer from terrible (again, there are worse ... I'm a big Clinique fan and a long time user but I stopped using their Post Shave Healer, not because it isn't good but because I found something better (I think). Firstly, as far as this product is concerned it does work. It stops any post shaving irritation and moisturises the skin nicely. I stopped using it after I had a lesson in shaving at Trumper's, the traditional English gentleman's barber in London. First of all, I am a true nostalgic so somewhere like Trumper's where they care about the old traditions is nirvana to me. At Trumper's they show you how to shave and to care for your skin properly. It was then that I started ... Read the complete review

I've been using Clinque's post shave healer for just under a year now, and couldn't live without. The soothing aloe gel makes razor burn a thing of the past, soothing away any post shave irration in seconds. My only gripe is that it comes in a small "rigid" bottle, rather than in a tube, like the Clinque moisturiser. A tube would make dispensing the stuff much easier - especially when it comes to the end of the bottle! If you only buy one product from the Clinique range, make it the post shave healer. It may be pricey, but it's worth it. ... Read the complete review
