Advantages: ummm didn't make my redness worse

Disadvantages: Didn't do anything to reduce my redness and expensive

I bought this product as a potential solution to my rosy red cheeks that are caused by rosacea. The most important thing to note about it is that is oil free, which is essential for those suffering from rosacea. I did think that the product was rather expensive, but then not only is Clinique an expensive brand, but most rosacea products tend to have a high price tag. Anyway this little 50ml pot retails for around £31, so at the top end of my budget. I didn't like the fact that it was in a pot and would have preferred a bottle so mucky fingers don't contaminate it.

Anyway onto the product itself, it felt quite thick and greasy when applying it and took quite a long time to absorb into my skin. I didn't have the pore clogging problem that other people have mentioned, however I have been using this twice a day for 3 months now and seen no change in the redness on my face. It does say that this product works over time, but I am now at the end of my first pot so I won't be buying any more. I suppose on a positive note it didn't irritate my skin further, which is always a bonus

Along with rosacea I also have quite dry skin, unfortunately I didn't find that this product helped with that either, so I wouldn't recommend spending the money on this.

Summary: Doesn't do what it claims to and is expensive.
