Waterproof mascara won't wash off with your cream cleanser or facial wipes? Oil-based cleansers irritate your eyes? Clinique's water-soluble eye make-up solvent is the answer! It is water-based and contains no oil,which means no irritation to the eyes, but it is very tough on all sorts of eye shadow and mascara. Just a little drop on cotton ball, and presto! Your eyelids and lashes are washed perfectly clean. You don't even have to close your eyes because it's not irritating at all, as gentle as water, but as tough as dishwashing liquid!!
When i first saw the color, i thought it's gonna be quite stringent or irritating because it looks like nail polish remover!!! But it turns out to be very very gentle and effective. Most importantly, because it is not creamy but waterly, it leaves no sticky or oily feel. Before i discovered this god-sent, i have been using my Johnson Ph 5.5 3 in 1 cleanser, which although it works well and is gentle enough for the eyes, does leave an unpleasant sticky feel around the eyes, which means that another wipe of toning lotion or water is necessary. But with this water-based solvent, you can go straight to your eye cream without having to wipe that cream cleanser away!!
