I've been a fan of Clinique products for 20 years now, since I discovered dramatically different moisturiser in my teens and have used many products in the range. I decided to give 'Sparkle Skin' a try after using Clinique deep comfort body butter and loving it. I thought Sparkle Skin would be a useful addition to my body care routine. I'm not getting any younger so I like to take care of what I've got (as the groaning bathroom shelves well testify to). I've noticed that as I get older the skin on my knees and elbows is getting more leathery and sometimes I'm not confident wearing short sleeved tops, so my main hope for this body exfoliating cream was a ... I do enjoy my shower ritual and I'm always looking for ways to add to it. I've always exfoliated and tried all sorts of body scrubs, but the main problem I've had with them is that the concentration of scrubbing particles has usually been to sparce, so the result being that as soon as you've rubbed it on it gets washed off pretty quickly in the shower. So I was looking for something that was thicker and more paste like in that respect. I'd used a clinique facial scrub which was the exact consistency of the sort of scrub I wanted for the rest of my body. Obviously it wouldn't have been cost effective at all to use the facial scrub all over my body, so I headed to the ... Read the complete review

Minty, refreshed and silky smooth.....exactly how I feel after using Clinique's 'sparkle skin' Body Exfoliating Cream. I own various different body exfoliants, salt rubs, exfoliating scrubs, and various different body buffing accessories, but nothing quite beats this. While others are all adequate, and achieve nice smooth skin, this product just seems to be slightly above them in several ways. The product contains scores of little granules, and although they may not be as large or as gritty as other exfoliants, I find they are more effective at removing that scabby scaly skin to reveal fresh new skin. ... Seduced by the thought of soft sensual skin, and the option to keep my soon to be present tan 'going' for a while, I was lured by the name - very sexy - and the Clinique label. Having parted with something extortionate like (hope my partner isn't reading this...) £20 I went home with a spring in my step and looked forward to sparkling along with the best of them. The unguent itself was supposed to exfoliate and moisturise the skin, in a wonderful sea green gel. The trouble was I think they forgot to add enough exfoliant bits, because they were sparse to say the least. The end result was that I used more and more and more of the stuff to get that ... This is a review of Clinique's Sparkle Skin body exfoliating cream. I think this must have come as part of a gift with purchase set as it has been in my bathroom a while and is a smallish 75ml tube. You buy it in a much bigger size which makes sense if you want to exfoliate your whole body a few times. The packaging is a light turqoise tube in the typical clinique simple but effective design. A screw cap opens the product which can be fiddly if you're trying to replace it mid-application. The cream is also turquoise in colour and the exfoliating grains are quite fine so it's not too scratchy on the skin. I tend to do my ... Read the complete review
