Advantages: Looks good in the washkit down the gym

Disadvantages: Cost, effectiveness, ndoesn't really work...

Seduced by the thought of soft sensual skin, and the option to keep my soon to be present tan 'going' for a while, I was lured by the name - very sexy - and the Clinique label. Having parted with something extortionate like (hope my partner isn't reading this...) £20 I went home with a spring in my step and looked forward to sparkling along with the best of them.

The unguent itself was supposed to exfoliate and moisturise the skin, in a wonderful sea green gel. The trouble was I think they forgot to add enough exfoliant bits, because they were sparse to say the least. The end result was that I used more and more and more of the stuff to get that lovely smooth feeling you get from a good scrub, and of course, the tube ran out well before the end of the fortnight. And believe me I was trying my hardest to be firm with myself and make the blessed tube last.

The best facet of this product was the smell which made you feel great as you washed with it, but on the whole - what a rip off. Just to add insult to injury I found a vanilla and loofah scrub in a French supermarket which works a treat, smells divine, and only cost - dare I say - £1.98. I stocked up hugely, and won't bother sparkling on Clinique's doorstep for this particular product again. Spend your cash on a trip to France is my advice!

Great opinion. I am beginning to suspect that Clinique can't make any decent products.
