Clinique is one of my favourite brands of make-up, and this sheer pressed matte powder, is one of my regulars in my make-up bag. It comes in a compact container in the normal green packaging associated with Clinique, and inside the compact is a mirror, as well as an applicator sponge. It certainly looks classy enough to take out of your bag with confidence. And it is with confidence as well that you could apply it. The product is very light on your face, and is great for absorbing any oiliness, and to get rid of that T-zone shine. And because it is so lighweight, it allows your skin to breathe. I have been using this product for a couple of years now, but recently changed to a no 7 alturnative when I was on a bit of a money saving frenzy. It was only then that I realised how much I like the clinque product and quickly returned to Boots to buy it again! The pressed powder is packaged in the same standard clinque packaging and includes a application pad and mirror. The pad is of firm texture and (after trialling the boots version and realising that 'you don't know what you've got until its gone') is of great, lasting quality. I'm a big fan of Clinique cosmetics- in fact I used them for my wedding and this is one of my all time favourite products. I'm quite light skinned, despite dark hair, and struggle to find bases that don't leave me looking either very pale or orange. However Clinique products really suit my skin and matte beige is the perfect shade for me. I have sensitive skin, which is prone to being a bit red and a bit shiny, but I know that I can rely on stay-matte to prevent this. The bases gives a light, natural looking cover. Not the cheapest - but I think it's the best pressed powder on the market. I've been using this product for several years now, and when I recently ran out - being a bit of a cheap-skate, I decided to opt for a cheaper version.... Firstly, I spent many a Saturday trying to find a pressed powder which matched my 'English Rose' (read pastey )complexion. And I can tell you, that was almost impossible.
