 ... sensitive skin which is prone to dry patches. I have been able to use this product day after day with no problems. It's fragrance free so there's no real smell. I think it's very important to use a daily sunscreen to protect your face from sun damage and keep those wrinkles at bay. I don't have many wrinkles (yet)! Is it down to the City Block? I've been using this for about 5 years on and off, after someone gave me it as a present. It says on the packet it's an 'oil free daily face protector', that's sunscreen to you and me! It sells for £13, and I tend to buy when Clinique have a 'bonus time' offer on, so I get some nice freebies. The City Block comes in a small green tube, perfect handbag size should you wish to take it out and about. The tube makes it easy to dispense just the right amount, so you don't waste any. The City Block looks a lot like a tinted moisturiser, but it doesn't really provide any coverage. It's very sheer, and I find it isn't very moisturising at all. Like most Clinique products, the City Sunblock is very conservative in composition and average in performance. It is a 'physical' sunscreen, which means that it contains titanium dioxide and similar ingredients that can create that white patch, ghostly effect. Your face may even look a bit silvery like a mirror coated with aluminium. It provides good protection against uv rays, that's for sure. It prevents sun-burn and probably lessens the harm of sun exposure. But if you wear it under make-up, it will feel very heavy and oily. You need to have a very dry skin to prevent this effect.
