Clinique is my favourite skincare company and I use a lot of their products, but I only tried this Super City Block SPF 40 facial sun cream quite recently. I had heard a lot of good things about the City Block and I know how important sun protection is especially for someone like myself with pale skin and a tendency to burn, so I decided ... This is a curious product in that it doesn't seem to fall neatly into either the 'sunscreen' category or the 'make-up/foundation'. It is, according to Clinique, a primer, - something to be worn under make-up - which happens to contain a strong sunscreen. This product generally gets mixed reviews, because people who like to ... Clinique city block is a life changing product if you live in the city. I moved to London a few years ao and my skin went terrible - i'm convinced due to the pollution i was encountering on my tube commute. I was reccomended cityblock by a clinique saleswoman and was to be honest, really cynical, but thought I would give it a ... Read the complete review

Let's cut to the chase. I am a woman. I am (nearly) 35 and would probably, in all honesty, feel a bit of a fraudster if I ticked the 'Spring Chicken' box. I live in Sussex where the climate is mild. (Such a beige word, 'mild' isn't it. Like 'pleasant'. Discuss). I have skin. It is neither particularly dark nor English rose pale. It is, ... Read the complete review

I have been using Clinque Super City Block SPF 40 for a couple of years now, and can't live without it! Part of the reason is I live in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania quite near the equator. It is extremely hot and humid so I need a good strong sun protector, which it is, and it is quite light, so it does not block the pores. Other ... Read the complete review

I have use Clinque products for years as they are gentle on your skin and look natural unlike some of the other brands that give a more caked appearance. Last year I was getting married in August and was looking for a product that would give sun protection in addition to acting as a make-up primer. I had a make-up trial and was ... As part of my attempts to get a proper skin care regime up and running before the sun damage overtake my face, i was introduced to Super City Block at the Clinique counter. The product was sold to me on three counts - the first was that it was a nice, light product that could double as a makeup primer. The second was the SPF ... Read the complete review

Until a year or so ago I was under the impression that I only needed sun protection on days when I was planning to spend a lot of time in the sun, and in the Summer months only. Then, on a trip to the Clinique counter to repurchase my favourite eyeliner (Brown Sugar Creamshaper, incase you are wondering!), the Sales Assistant handed me a ... Read the complete review
