Advantages: keeps skin hydrated and matte looking at the same time

I am a huge fan of clinique makeup as I have very sensitive skin and feel this is gentle on my skin and it contains no fragrance of oil in its ingrdients.
The compact makeup initially costs 21.00 but therafter costs 14.00 as you simply buy the refils to fit into the compact. It comes in a metallic silver case with a mirror, sponge appliactor and the refil makeup. There are a variety of shades and if you ask the clinique counter will match up the right shade to your face without charge. I found that the no.2 shade worked best for me, as was quite light with a yellow tone through it.
The compact keeps skin hydrated throughout the day without becoming oily, and is perfect if you suffer from oily skin as it turns to a powdery finish when applied to the skin. The feel of it is really light on your skin and gives a very natural finish, yet has coverage if you do have large pores or are prone to spots (as am I). It reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkels and if used with a smaller brush can become a concealer too.
After using this for a while my skin felt so much softer and hydrated and I found my skin to be less likely to acne breakouts. This is a godsend for me, and I wont use any other foundation on my skin, its fantastic. The onyl draw back is that there is not a huge amount of foundation in there, so use sparingly as you dont need much and it does go a long way.
