Advantages: Ease of application, balancing, looks great.

Disadvantages: None really - dislike Clinique packaging but that's not a slight on their products

I recently purchased Clinique Superbalanced Makeup in Shade 05 Vanilla.

I have found that although Clinique products are allergy tested and 100% fragrance free and oil free - great for my highly sensitive skin - that they are pretty boringly packaged and not very "cutting edge" looking in comparison with brands like Benefit and Hard Candy.

Having said this and despite the "boring" packaging which in my opinion on average would appeal more to older women, this foundation is really very good.

The shade which I chose is perfect for my skin and the foundation itself offers a good "medium" coverage which people have commented gives my skin the lustre of a 1930's Hollywood actress - no joke!

I have had my bottle for approximately three months and it hasn't gone down any at all - I use it maybe two to three days a week on average or when I really need to look my best.

This foundation is not drying nor does it give a patchy effect even when applied with fingers straight out of the (glass) bottle. Clinique claim that this foundation moisturises your dry areas whilst absorbing oil and you know what - for once you can believe the hype!
