Advantages: Good colour, Long Lasting

Disadvantages: Price

Cliniques superbalanced make-up is a fanstatic invention. It is designed so it moisturises the areas of your skin that are dry and absorbs the oil from your skin in those areas too. It sounds very highstreet now, but with Clinique its been around for over a year, and the best thing is that it is specifically designed for those of us with sensitive skin.

The benefits of this make up is that it is 100% fragrance free and is tested extensively on guniea pigs (as in people not animals) with sensitive skin before it has been released. For people like me, this is a god send.

I had a Clinique make-over which was how I discovered it, and when you go and buy products they will probably give you a skincare test so they can find the right foundation for you, but I would say this is probably the best for most people as it helps to balance the things that are wrong with your skin.

They also taught me how to use it, no fancy sponge and fingertip blending, the staff at the counter could not have been more friendly and they definately knew their subject.

The practicities of the product are simple, you get what you pay for, I find that the foundation lasts 8 hours, pretty much, but I would have thought that putting a little loose powder over it would help it stay in place even longer and only requires a little more on the areas of your face like the nose.

It comes in a wode range of colours, I know there are 5 very widely available, and probably there are more, but they also have products to match with the foundation too.

Price wise its not too bad, while £17 is alot, the bottle does last alot longer than it looks, I wear it every day and after 15 months I am only half way through the second bottle. I think that your skin has to come before the price, and while its a luxuary its definately worth the extra cost.
