Advantages: ultra long-lasting, goes on easily, great colours

Disadvantages: maybe not so good for those with very dry lips

The best lipstick in the world?possibly?

As far as I?m concerned, it very probably is the best lipstick in the world..that I have thus far tried, at any rate.

I was lucky enough to get two £10 vouchers for an Internet beauty website called Vitago.co.uk, and used it to treat myself to a lovely expensive item I would never usually buy myself. I?m so glad I chose a Clinique lipstick (actually I liked the first one I got so much I went straight back and got a different colour in the same range).

The packaging is reassuringly glamorous without being tacky ? a slimline silver half ridged tube. The lipstick itself is a really deep pigment so a little goes a long way. It?s one of the only ?long lasting? lipsticks I have ever tried that lived up to their name. So many of them just slide right off the first time you sip your coffee or attempt to eat anything. This one just wouldn?t budge, and yet wasn?t overly drying on my lips, either (again, many tend to leave your lips like the Sahara on a particularly moisture-free day).

Today?

3 plums
1 apple
1 salad roll
1 choccy bar
4 cups of coffee
& 3 glasses of water have passed my lips. It?s still on and looks as good as when I first applied it. Yippee!

The colours I have are ?Berry cream? (no.6) ? a dark plum/maroon colour; and ?Deep red? (no.12) - which is, erm, well, deep red! Both perfect for me, and I am so fussy about lipstick colours, and both of which I will definitely buy again.

Although they are more expensive than I would normally buy, I think they are well worth the extra as they last so long and wont end up sitting forlornly in my makeup bag with the many other mistakes I have hastily purchased because they were so cheap.

Sometimes, you do get what you pay for, and this is one of those occasions.

Hi Gem, the colour range is really good...well, I think it is but I suppose that comes down to personal taste. They have a good range in which most people could find a colour to suit them. Good luck! ;-)
