Very disappointed (Clinique Take The Day Off Make Up Remover)

Advantages: May remove very light eyeshadow

Disadvantages: Didn't remove eyeliner, had to scrape away at eyes, you use too much for one removal

What can I say? A great big disappointment. The night I decided to use this, I had topliner (liquid) and bottom liner (pencil) as well as some light eyeshadow.
The remover did a great quick job on the eyeshadow but I had to really press hard to get the eyeliners off, especially the bottom liner. When I bought this, the Clinique assistant assured me that it removes everything even stubborn make up- but in my case this simply wasn't true.
Price wise I thought it was a bit steep, but then I like to take care of my eyes as they are sensitive so I do like to spend money in this area. However, for the lack of effectiveness that this product depicts, I wouldn't advise buying it at retail price.
Packaging wise, I thought this was nice enough but if you have someone who perhaps can't use their hands very well then this can be a feat to open.
After experimenting some more with this for about a week, I just gave up it wasn't removing my eye make up properly and I had to use too much just to remove pencil eyeliner so I don't recomment this.
A great alternative though, is Johnsons baby oil. For me, nothing beats that especially when I wear Mac eye make up which as we all know is highly pigmented stuff.

Summary: Use Johnsons baby oil- can guarantee it will remove every last scrap of make up and moisturise too!
