I bought this make-up remover after a recommendation from a friend as I always found i was waking up with panda eyes no matter how hard I tried to remove stubborn eye make-up. I purchased the Clinique Take the day off make-up remover from Boots, and it cost 15.50. This is quite expensive in comparison to other removers but I think it is very worth it.

The bottle is a light purple, lilac transparent bottle with a silver screw top cap. The cap has a safety mechanism, similar to what you find on medicine bottles. The first thing you will notice is that there are two distinct layers to the make-up remover. This is due to it being a oil based make-up remover so you find that the oil separates from the non-oil parts. Before you use the make-up remover you must thoroughly shake the bottle so that the two layers mix. You often get bubbles forming in the bottle when you do this. To remove make-up, get a cotton pad and tip the bottle twice on to the cotton pad. I then go over my eyes with the cotton pad and the make-up just melts away. For more stubborn eyeliner I usually leave the pad over my eye for a few seconds and then wipe away. You can use it all over your face, it has quite a oily texture therefore dehydrating the skin to a certain degree.

I have very sensitive eyes, but I have found this is very gentle on my eyes and it is almost like just using water. It causes no irritation whatsoever. Since starting to use Cliniques take the day off make-up remover I know longer wake up with panda eyes. Well done Clinique!
