The idea of this product is simple and great: if you want to have new skin, you have to get rid of your old one. Hence, exfoliate. Not in an obvious scrub-it-away way, but using some hi-tech ingredients which work in deeper layers of skin and speed up skin's natural ability to regenerate and renew. The thing is that you have to use it for quite a while to see any results. But once you include it in your daily skincare routine you will surely notice some improvements. For me, it evens the skintone and makes skin more smooth. The complexion becomes brighter and more healthy-looking. And it also minimises break-outs as the dead skin cells don't clog the pores. Last Saturday, The Boyfriend and I went to Best Friend’s Christmas tree party in Hackney. (A Christmas tree party, for those of you not in the know, is a party where you bring a decoration for the tree.) We went via Topshop in Oxford Circus and the Turkish off-licence first and due to a longish afternoon and the fact we go to bed a bit earlier these days, we were starting to get a little sleepy on arrival. Luckily for us, Best Friend was at the back of her kitchen (in an up-to-the minute polkadot cocktail dress) hovering over a large cauldron of mulled wine*. In any case, we had a an excellent time chatting to Best Friend and her new boyfriend, found time to ... Read the complete review

This is one of my favourite moisturisers and well worth the price I believe. A 30ml pump bottle retails at £30 however you can get it for approx £20 or less off ebay! You can also get 7ml and 15ml tubes off ebay for even better prices! Now offically this is an anti aging moisturiser and is also called a skin renewer. The blurb from Clinique says that: "A high-performance cocktail of exfoliants prompts a renewal process that is multilevel, time-released. Speeds fresh, vibrant cells to the surface. Continually unveils brighter, more radiant skin. Leaves skin with a velvety feel, perfected look." Don't worry though this is not ... Read the complete review

I was having a dilema few months ago, my skin was in such a terrible state - my face was covered in spots that i could not seem to get rid of. I tried everything i could think of to get fid of them, eating more fruit and veg, drinking more water, making sure i removed my make up properly every night, i even tried going on the pill - as that has helped my skin before. But nothing was working. And at 24yrs old, spots are supposed to be a thing of the past. So after two months of being on the pill and even that not working, i decided to take a trip to my local boots store. There i went to the Clinique counter and asked the assistant what would be the best thing ... Read the complete review

This product is quite similar to the boots no7 protect and perfect beauty serum. I bought this product before I discovered the no7 one. In comparison, I wouldn't say there is that much difference with what this product does for my skin and the boots no7 protect and perfect beauty serum. The main noticeable difference between these two products is the price. The Clinique serum costs about twice the price of the boots serum. Also, the boots serum has a patent pending technology that Clinique wasn't able to get. I personally don't mind using either of these serums, however, these days I do opt for the boots one, simply because I can buy that one for ... Read the complete review
