Advantages: Good beer, parties and atmosphere, cheap.

Disadvantages: None except it is to be relocated or closed at the end of the year

Jadlodajnia Filozoficzna is one of the best pubs in Warsaw, centrally located and found in a courtyard down by the river on the opposite side of the road of the Library of Warsaw University, an impressive building. Unfortunately the courtyard's time is almost up, during the early night, there are some bouncers who give people a body pat, most probably to look for weapons but who knows, maybe just because they like it!

There is a selection of 3 clubs and normally at least one of them has live music, unfortunately one of the pack "Aurora" has already left us, the courtyard itself is a lively place where you can sit and drink beer, whilst talking or just admiring the bizarre political mural on the wall featuring George Bush, Osama Bin-Laden and some clowns. Club entry is ually cheap - 5zl and bands are often from the punk, new wave or harder music genres, other nights the club tends to have 90's or 80's parties. breer is cheap and tasty, there is a good choice of beers including Lomza which is a beer that is usually hard to find in pubs in Warsaw and one of the better ones that can be had. The club normally gets somewhat busy starting from midnight on the weekends, otherwise the amount of people, whilst not small will also not ensure that you spend a long time queuing for either the bar or the toilet and staff are usually pretty good.

The club itself has some seats outside, a top level with tables near the entrance, then a bar and a few steps below that a large dance floor also with a couple of tables.

All these factors make it one of the cheapest and most pleasant places to go in the evening and it's a shame that it is closing down at the end of the year or moving location as this place is rather good.
